Janitor Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive Management/Operations experience, preferably within the custodial arena
- Experience managing contracts and maintaining vendor relationships
- Must have the ability to partner with all levels of employees and build relationships
- Must have strong employee relations and management skills
- Establish and implement periodic schedules and procedures for the janitorial program
- Ensure that maintenance work orders are completed and accurate
- Establishes a safe work environment for clients, customers and staff by ensuring equipment safety by providing training and equipment inventory and maintenance
- Establish and/or adhere to defined operating standards, develops and implements quality improvements and ensures the staff adhere to the standards and expectations
- Plans and administers activities of the associates to ensure continuous operation and timely delivery of services
- Being on-site at the Main Facility whenever work is being performed by the Contractor’s work force at the campus
- Obtain approval from the COR for any non-routine work that is scheduled to be performed in the current or upcoming weeks
- Report damage of property, loss of keys, or personal injuries immediately after such occurrence
- Conducts quality assurance checks and manages materials inventory for general use
Janitorial Supervisor
Qualifications
- Arranging maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners and • pressure washers
- Plans, assigns, and/or supervises the performance of general custodial functions • such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Oversee clients’ special requests & projects including those for carpet and floor
- maintenance
- Communicate at all levels with employees and clients
Responsibilities
- Work scheduled shift and be on time for scheduled shift
- Ensures high level of service is delivered performing walk thru and inspections of • completed work
- Inventory control of supplies and cleaning materials, preventing low and • overstocks
- Assigns tasks to workers
- Issues supplies and equipment
- Responsible for keeping all equipment in good working condition • Resolves workers’ problems or refers matters to Management • May perform duties of workers supervised
- Assists, as needed, with cleaning

Janitorial Lead Technician
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Proven experience working as a Janitorial Techinician
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge of various cleaning methods
- The ability to lift heavy equipment
Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning maintaining premises of commercial, industrial, or other establishments
- Assigns tasks to workers and inspects completed work for conformance to standards
- Issues supplies equipment
- Resolves worker’s problems or refers matters to the supervisor
- Trains new workers, records hours worked, recommends discharge of incompetent workers, and performs other personnel duties as required • May requisition or purchase cleaning supplies and equipment
- May perform duties of workers supervised.
Janitorial Technician
Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them • Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
- Good organization skills
- Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners • Excellent time-management skill .
Responsibilities
- Cleaning linoleum, tile, and other floors
- Shampooing rugs and carpets
- Emptying trash cans and recycling bins
- Dusting all surfaces
- Waxing floors
- Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
- Washing and clean windows and mirrors
- Maintaining a thorough inventory
- Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners • Collecting and taking out trash and recycling
- Other duties as assigned
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls • Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones • Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed • Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Perform minor repairs on machinery, equipment and tools
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Clean and maintain restrooms
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment
- Other duties as assigned
